Baoji Steel Pipe Company (BSG company) independent research and development production of China’s first 60.3 mm in diameter, wall thickness of 4.44 mm, 2750 meters long S32001 material stainless steel continuous pipe, recently installed in the Changqing oilfield CCUS-EOR (carbon dioxide capture and storage and enhanced recovery) demonstration area application, to provide equipment security for China’s oilfield mining technology upgrades.
Oil and gas field corrosion on the high-end continuous pipe is in great demand; Baoji Steel Pipe Company, in recent years, has developed 2205, 18Cr corrosion-resistant alloy continuous pipe and other products. The newly developed and produced S32001 stainless steel continuous pipe further enriches the company’s product type of corrosion-resistant alloy continuous pipe, which is suitable for both deep CCUS-EOR processes and part of sour oil and gas fields containing small amounts of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide.
Next, Baoji Steel Pipe Company will continue to track the application of S32001 stainless steel continuous pipe to reduce the cost of oilfield extraction further, improve the utilization rate of resources, and realize the large-scale application of this product in major oilfields.
