Description
The web thickness of the H-post is smaller than the ordinary I-steel with the same height of the web, and the flange width is larger than the ordinary I-steel with the same height of the web, so it is also named wide flange I-steel. Determined by the shape, the section modulus, moment of inertia, and corresponding strength of the H-post are superior to ordinary I-post with the same single weight.
When used in different metal structures with different requirements, it shows its superior performance regardless of bending moment, pressure load, and eccentric load. It can greatly improve the bearing capacity compared with ordinary I-steel, saving 10% ~ 40% of the metal. H-post has a wide flange, thin web, many specifications, and flexible use, which can save 15% ~ 20% of metal in all truss structures. Because the flange inside and outside is parallel, the edge end is at a right angle, easy to assemble and combine into various components, thus can save about 25% of the workload of welding, and riveting, can greatly accelerate the construction speed of the project, shorten the construction period.
