Corrosion resistance
Stainless steel plates are good quality and have good corrosion and heat resistance. They are mainly used in high-temperature applications, which require strong resistance to sensitization to prevent corrosion between particles at a lower temperature.
High-temperature oxidation resistance
Stainless steel plates have high-temperature oxidation resistance. However, the oxidation rate is influenced by inherent factors such as exposure to the environment and product form.
Types of stainless steel plates
Stainless steel plates are classified as follows:
- Stainless steel plates are classified according to thickness: They can be divided into Thin sheets (0.2mm-4mm), medium sheets (4mm-20mm), thick plates (20mm-60mm), and very thick plates (60-115mm).
- According to the production method, stainless steel plates can be divided into Hot-rolled steel plates (heated plates formed by the heater) and cold-rolled steel plates (plates produced by the cold-rolled process).
- Stainless steel can be divided into Bridge steel, boiler steel, shipbuilding steel, armor steel, automobile steel, Roof, structural, electrical (silicon steel), spring, and solar panel.
